Gorgeous Stair Remodel…before and after!

…finally getting around to making a post about a project we completed this past spring… We were asked to create 4 custom newels for a fabulous home remodel being orchestrated by our friends at Choice Construction. The clients had a fairly specific design in mind for the lower newel posts. But due to their large size we had to develop a design for the starting step that could support the scale of the new newels and work with the existing entry layout.

Ultimately, we fabricated the newel posts, starting step and the volutes (the handrail turnouts at the bottom, above the newels) and installed the starting step. Choice’s finish carpenter installed the newels & replaced the balusters and their painter stained and finished the project. As we have experienced before, a coordinated team effort yielded fantastic results!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Carlos, and his skilled team at Madera, on numerous projects and each have turned out fantastic.
