Here's a snapshot of a recent project that came out of our shop. We took salvaged Douglas fir planks and white washed them in the traditional way with lime and salt. After a bit more distressing we sealed the wood with a zero sheen polyurethane finish. The shelving is stained white oak. The table base was also stained oak which came from trees salvaged from a Tacoma middle school renovation. The table top was furnished by our new friends at Alchemy Concrete Works. Once the upholsterer is finished with the bench cushion and the designer and client fill the shelves we will get some better photos to add to our Built-in and Furniture Portfolios.
