Steel where it earns its place.

Wood is where we start, but it isn’t always the whole answer. When a piece needs a span, a rail, a base, or an edge that takes a beating, we build it in steel, stainless, or brass, designed and fitted alongside the woodwork in our Tacoma shop.

Sometimes the metal is the point: a blackened base, a rhythm of steel balusters. Sometimes you’ll never see it: a welded frame inside a counter, a flat-bar spine inside a handrail. Either way, it’s planned from the first sketch, not bolted on at the end.
